Quantum Space has executed a new spacecraft processing work order with All Points Logistics to support launch preparations for its Prime mission, a pathfinder for the company's Ranger and Scout spacecraft platforms. The agreement signals progress toward what the company is targeting as a second-half 2027 launch.

According to the announcement, made September 30, 2026, All Points will provide specialized spacecraft processing services including clean-room facilities, propellant servicing support, launch-site safety and operational reviews, ground support activities, and transportation to the launch vehicle integration facility. The work is scheduled to support Prime launch preparations throughout 2027 at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.

Prime Pathfinder Mission

Prime represents the first flight of Quantum Space's high-performance spacecraft class, designed to evaluate spacecraft performance, payload hosting, and data collection capabilities. The company has already completed a Systems Integration Review for the mission, positioning it for the detailed planning and execution stage required ahead of launch.

According to Kerry Wisnosky, President of Quantum Space, the agreement reflects the complexity of preparing a spacecraft for launch: "Many activities must come together between completing a spacecraft and getting it safely integrated onto a launch vehicle, and All Points brings the specialized infrastructure, people and launch-site experience required to help us execute that process."

Wisnosky added that securing launch-site processing capability helps mitigate execution risk. "Our focus now is on completing the spacecraft, executing the environmental test campaign and moving through launch integration and ultimately to on-orbit operations."

Building on Existing Partnership

The new work order expands an existing Master Services Agreement between the two companies, establishing a specific scope of work focused on ground processing and launch-site activities required for Prime at Vandenberg.

All Points Logistics, established in 1997 as a service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB), operates across multiple states and provides services in software development, IT services, modeling and simulation, launch support services, and integrated logistics. Ranger Platform Specifications

Prime will be the first operational demonstration of Quantum Space's Ranger spacecraft, which the company describes as featuring patented propulsion, extended on-orbit endurance, and modular flexibility. The platform is being engineered to address needs of national security and commercial operators, with significant maneuverability and the ability to host and support a broad range of mission types.
